For Those Who Don`t Believe Israel Shoots Innocent Farmers

Activists have repeatedly witnessed Palestinian farmers being shot at by Israeli forces as they attempt to work on agricultural land situated within 700m of the Green Line.

(SALEM, Ore.) - It was late February in 2009, when Israeli forces shot a 20-year old Palestinian farmer as he was working in a field near Al-Faraheen.

Weeks earliern, Israeli forces shot at several farmers, killing a 27-year old farmer.

Palestinian Leaders Will Re-Enter Peace Talks With Israel

(JERUSALEM) - Salem-News.com Leaders of the Palestine Liberation Organization have approved indirect peace talks with Israel VOA news reports today. The talks with the PLO's Executive Committee, will be the first negotiations in 18 months.

PLO Secretary-General Yasser Abed Rabb, said, "The Palestinian leadership today has declared its acceptance to participate in the proximity talks."

The Mexican navy has announced it is on alert and ready to participate in any actions needed to counter the oil slick.

Even as the U.S. grapples with the environmental disaster spawned from last month’s oil spill, Mexico's Pemex announces plans to outsource as many as 14 new oil exploitation contracts in the Gulf of Mexico.
