Circumcision and Penile Anesthesia: Not Before but After
Dr. Phil Leveque Salem-News.com
As a doctor doing physical exams hundreds of times a circumcised penis does not look like a normal one; the skin looks leathery and it is no surprise that victims complain that the sensitivity is decreased or even lost.
(MOLALLA, Ore.) -
Exactly why Tim King posted his article about Penile Mutilation, December 26, 2009 in Salem-News.com I have no idea. It brought on a tsunami of responses which really staggered me.
I thought I should enter the fray from the “other side” of the scalpel – Circumcision by an Intern, Dec. 30, 2009.

`The Lost Embrace`, Circumcision and Peace
Michel Hervé Navoiseau-Bertaux Salem-News.com
Our writer in France reviews a movie by Daniel Burman with an unforgettable circumcision scene.
(PARIS) -
Marilyn Milos (a nurse founder of the American movement NOCIRC against infantile sexual mutilation) wrote me: “I would put my own body between the scalpel and the baby.”
Reproaching her son to come back home late without warning, the excessive mum of Ariel, the thirty year old or so hero of the movie, also brings her body into play, possibly because of unconscious guilt for having let him be circumcised; why else would she have taken the cake knife that she is holding out to him, saying: “Kill me!”?

Circumcision by an Intern
Dr. Phil Leveque Salem-News.com
That's a Real Owee! Circumcision from a doctor's point of view.
(MOLALLA, Ore.) -
For many years I wondered about this Biblical/archaic procedure. I was intact when my older brother had it done when he was in the Navy along with a hernia repair.
I think my younger brother had it done as a standard operating procedure (SOP). I really didn't get close to it myself until my medical internship.

America: Land of the Mutilated Penis
Tim King Salem-News.com
Americans need a national New Year's resolution: to end the barbaric practice of male genital mutilation, otherwise known as circumcision.
(SALEM, Ore.) -
If you really think about it, it might be possible to recall the first time somebody explained to you what a circumcision is.
I don't think we ever get over the shock of that knowledge, and those of us who were put through this torturous act certainly never really heal from it, instead we pay for our parent's decision for the rest of our lives.

`Thou Shall Not Circumcise`
By Michel Hervé Navoiseau-Bertaux Salem-News.com
A Three-Millennial Falsification (*): The 2nd Commandment forbids Sexual Mutilation.
(PARIS, France) -
John the Baptist and Jesus gave their lives for baptism by water rather than by the trauma of the “original” punishment, conceived to prevent any further “sin”.
Numerous attempts of abolishing circumcision occurred, sometimes quelled by blood (Machabees). The most elaborated one was that of German Reform rabbis, in the middle of the 19th century, for socio-political and juridical reasons: the segregationist and criminal custom isolates the Jews.

New Evidence in Botched Houston Castration Trial
Michel Hervé Navoiseau-Bertaux for Salem-News.com
Mrs. Nadal was insane, not guilty of extraordinary hateful vengeance.
(PARIS, France) -
New evidence is developing in the Houston castration case, via the Facebook page of Mrs. Jennifer Coias, in an entry dated August 18, 2009.
Five weeks after the birth of the baby boy, Katherine Nadal was down in deep post-partum depression, a fact attested by her taking strong pain-killers (methadone notably, which is supposed to prevent from addiction) rather than being “high on drugs”, as unjustly reproached.

A Young Mom Castrates Her Child Instead of Circumcising Him
M. H. Navoiseau-Bertaux for Salem-News.com
American collective circumcising madness is responsible.
(PARIS, France) -
The circumcision polemic has recently come to an extreme point in Texas. Indeed, on the next morning of an argument with her husband about circumcising their baby or not, a young and pretty mother has castrated her baby.
This caricature of circumcision is the most ferocious lesson that can be given to the collective circumcising madness that has been raging for decades in the United States.

Vainglorious: The Munchausen Complex
By Richard L. Matteoli for Salem-News.com
Munchausen Syndrome in Collective Transmission extends Transgenerational abuses into a community, society, or culture.
(SAN ANDREAS, Calif.) -
This report extends Munchausen Syndrome and Munchausen Syndrome by Proxy when harmful behaviors become part of the social fabric.
As socialized beings, we are usually unaware why we think what we think and why we do what we do. Exploring beneath the surface, we may discover we are not who we imagine we are. Are our subtle perversions and aberrations so different from those of the ancients, or other cultures we label primitive? Inferring atrocity to others is easier. By pointing fingers, we don’t have to look at ourselves.

Male Circumcision Ineffective in HIV Battle According to Future HIV Therapy Report
Salem-News.com
Salem-News.com called foul on the original reports that circumcision helped reduce HIV/AIDS in Africa, now our belief is proven.
(WEST LAFAYETTE, Indiana) -
Promoting male circumcision in Africa is risky and dangerous and could lead to more HIV infections, warns a new paper published in the May issue of Future HIV Therapy.
Promoting circumcision will drain millions, possibly billions, of dollars away from more effective prevention strategies, and cause tens of thousands of infections and other surgical complications.
