(SALEM) - Marine Cpl. Adam Buyes grew up in Salem, Oregon A Salem, Oregon Marine who was killed during combat operations in Afghanistan 26 November 2011, 21-year old Adam J. Buyes, arrived home today under full escort.

Marines Arrested at Occupy LA - One Says Cops Threatened His Family`s Lives

"Our government is capable of making people disappear"

(LOS ANGELES) - Occupy Los Angeles Los Angeles Police took a Marine Veteran away without stating what the charges were at Occupy LA in late November. Jason Hurley's arrest was scarcely publicized, except for the coverage on YouTube and on the Occupy LA Website.

We've reported a number of Marine Veterans being assaulted by police during the various Occupy movement gatherings in California. It looks like the cops are striving for the point of of return, Marines aren't known for standing by for this type of behavior.

(ALEXANDRIA, Egypt) - Leon Panetta, US defense secretary, has urged Israel to go back to the negotiating table with Palestinians and to address what he described as the country’s growing isolation- loneliness- in the Middle East. In remarks made at the Brookings Institution Friday, Panetta said:

“The problem right now is we can’t get them [Israel's leaders] to the damn table to at least sit down and begin to discuss their differences...”

(TEL AVIV Ha'aretz) - Netanyahu Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has decided to discontinue a controversial Immigration and Absorption Ministry campaign in the United States aimed at convincing expatriate Israelis to return, the Jewish Telegraphic Agency reported on Friday.

The campaign, which warns Israelis that if they continue to live in the United States, they or their children are likely to become assimilated, has raised the ire of American Jewish groups.

No stress, except for trying to keep up with the little guy who just wants to conquer the world. Like father, like son!

(CRYSTAL MOUNTAINS, Wash.) - Eric and Evan at Crystal Mountain I have been a surfer for over 42 years and my son Evan who is now 11, never caught on to the one love of my life. Instead, he chose to be a skater dude and he is a pretty good one at that.

However, we moved to Washington from California a little over a year ago and his skating time has been declining due to poor weather and logistics of indoor parks.
