Help restore Gaza's families by replacing olive trees.
(GAZA) -
This is a short video I made to promote our project to plant an Olive Tree Orchard on Samouni family land. Make it happen everyone, small amounts are great as well.
29 people were killed in this family, children shot in front of parents, parents shot in front of children, a group of 97 in one home blasted to bits by rockets and mortars. Made to live amongst the mutilated and dead for several days...

Pro-Israeli Medical Students Take Positions on Hasbara`s Propaganda Team
Tim King Salem-News.com
Medical students attempt to advocate what many see as Israel's militant brutality.
(SALEM / NEW YORK) -
I recently wrote about the film, The Shooting of Thomas Hurndall and received a comment on the story from medical students at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine.
Their comment, wholly advocating for Israel's militant politics, fails to even mention the name of the man that the story is about; Thomas Hurndall.

One in a Million Perhaps the Most Important Video You Will Ever Watch
Salem-News.com
When people function on a positive level there is no limit to their potential.
(GAZA) -
The body of this film was produced by Atif Wahab and final post production was completed by Ken O'Keefe. This powerful video will bring you to your knees a a human being.
Never before has such an epic message been produced this way; but then a Revolution wasn't raging in Egypt and in other nations where the power of the people has the power to deliver permanent change.

The French Philosopher
Gilad Atzmon Salem-News.com
I guess that Levy either, doesn’t know or just pretends not to know that in the ‘Jews only democracy’ laws are racially orientated.
(LONDON) -
What makes one a philosopher? Probably, the capacity to aim at the essence of things, while celebrating the love of wisdom (philo-sophos).
Though Bernard-Henri Lévy presents himself as a French philosopher, he seems to lack that elementary capacity.

Say `No`! to Female Genital Mutilation
Diane Walsh Salem-News.com
International Day on Zero Tolerance...
(VICTORIA, B.C.) -
Female Genital Mutilation is a heinous crime still perpetrated against girls. On February 6 2011 throughout the day, the entire world community is being asked to chant together a resounding “No!” in unison with all activists against female genital mutilation.
As this is the date marking the 8th International Day on Zero Tolerance to Female Genital Mutilation, collectively, we can honour the global concerted efforts which rarely get the media attention, but which represent, both practical and existential struggles, against FGM tradition practice.

All the President`s Men in Egypt
Dr. Ashraf Ezzat for Salem-News.com
Only a criminal regime could allow such criminal acts to dominate and terrorize innocent people with impunity.
(ALEXANDRIA, Egypt) -
Throughout the last week anti-Mubarak protesters have been demonstrating peacefully on daily basis in Tahrir square.
And on Tuesday when their numbers have exceeded one million protesters and despite the prior fear of loss of control over the crowds the whole day went by smoothly and with a displayed sense of jubilation and solidarity.

The Shooting of Tom Hurndall
Film review by Tim King Salem-News.com
"...I want to look up to myself and when I die, I want to smile because of the things I have done, not cry for the things I haven't done." —Tom Hurndall
(SALEM, Ore.) -
'Moving'; the first thought I am left with after watching The Shooting of Tom Hurndall on Hulu last night.
I am familiar with his story, as I am with Rachel Corrie's; both were humanitarian activists killed by Israeli military forces while rallying to the aid of Palestinian people. In the case of Tom Hurndall, I understand this tragedy much more clearly now thanks to Simon Block who wrote the film, and Tom's family.

Dr. Ashraf Ezzat Reporting from Egypt: The Uprising, the Treason and Israel
Dr. Ashraf Ezzat for Salem-News.com
The dictator- people relationship is primarily of fear and submission. You take that fear and submission out of the equation and the relation is redefined again and so disturbed to the verge of uprising.

(GAZA) -
We are living in the days in which collective rage is all powerful.
If we are wise we will manifest that rage into a process of justice for all, we will see each other as brothers and sisters in one human family and we will treat each other and fight for each other as such.
