Following San Bruno Pipeline Fire, Landowners on PG&E Pipeline Route Join Lawsuit

Many communities along the proposed pipeline route have volunteer fire departments with limited resources.

(MEDFORD, Ore.) - San Bruno Landowners along PG&E’s proposed Pacific Connector pipeline route announced today that they will ask to join a federal lawsuit brought against Oregon and the state’s Clean Water Act permitting process.

The Pacific Connector pipeline proposal sued Oregon’s agencies for deeming their application incomplete for a 230-mile, 36-inch, non-odorized pipeline.

A former cellist for the British rock band Electric Light Orchestra (ELO) was killed Friday.

(LONDON) - ELO member freak accident 62-year old Mike Edwards was driving a van when a giant, runaway 1,300 pound bale of hay rolled down a steep hill, hit a hedge and flew 15 feet into the air then smashed fatally into the cab of his vehicle.

Deaf School Haunted House Meets ABC`s Extreme Makeover

Good news in lean times about Oregon's School for the Deaf and ABC's help in rebuilding the 'Nightmare Factory' - their single largest annual fundraiser.

(SALEM, Ore.) - Ghost hunters I first experienced the Oregon School for the Deaf's Halloween 'Nightmare Factory' in Salem, when I was a fairly new staff member at KATU, the ABC station in Portland, Oregon.

I remember being so impressed with the ability of these students to overcome their disabilities, that I knew I would be a fan for life. It was great to learn that the school's special annual exhibit will be the subject of an ABC network Extreme Home Makeover episode
