The officer weeped as he testified that the shooting of Oscar Grant was a tragic accident caused by accidentally grabbing his firearm instead of an electric Taser weapon.

Update on American Legion Post 10 Fire

(ALBANY, Ore.) - Albany veterans suffered a terrible loss July 3th when the American Legion Post 10 caught fire and burned after closing. Fortunately there were no injuries.

Albany Fire Spokesman Wanda Omdahl, said crews were able to access the burned building to retrieve several items.
