(SALEM, Ore.) - SS Edmund Fitzgerald 40 years ago, on November 10, 1975, the Edmund Fitzgerald sank in Lake Superior. This two score anniversary commemorates the ship, an ore carrier, which went down in a November storm, taking all 29 crew members to their graves.

Most of us (outside the area) know about the tragedy because of one thing: the song.

Located at a depth of 500 meters, under the mountains, the footage shows a very long tunnel which appears to be about 10 meters high.

(SALEM, Ore.) - Umpqua CC A 911 call came into the Douglas County emergency services at 10:38 a.m. alerting authorities of an active shooter at Umpqua Community College in Roseburg.

13 are confirmed dead by the State Attorney General Rosenblum, and there are 20 wounded, many critically.

"There's no more threat," the Sheriff told KOIN 6.
It appears, at this time, there was one shooter. The shooter is among the dead.

Palestinian Baby Burns to Death in Arson Attack by Suspected Israeli Settlers

The child was sleeping when the firebomb landed on his bed.

(SALEM, Ore.) - Salem-News.com A gang of suspected Israeli regime settlers have burnt to death an 18-month-old Palestinian baby boy while three of his family members were injured at dawn Friday after their house was deliberately set on fire in Duma, a town south of Nablus.

The one-and-a-half year old toddler, Ali Saad Dawabsha, died after sustaining serious burns when a firebomb was thrown through the window near his bed while he slept. It was 3 a.m., all the family was asleep and defenseless.
