Governor’s signing of SB 1548, the “Fair Employment Opportunity Act,” will help level playing field for Oregonians looking for work.

(SALEM) - Salem capitol Senate Majority Leader Diane Rosenbaum and community advocates will join Oregon Governor John Kitzhaber this afternoon for a bill signing ceremony on Senate Bill 1548.

The legislation makes Oregon the second state in the nation to prohibit discrimination against the unemployed in job announcements.

(WASHINGTON DC) - Autism 1 in 88 This week, the Canary Party expects CDC to announce a new autism prevalence rate of 1 in 88. Boys are diagnosed with autism at four times the rate of girls, meaning 1 in 48 boys.
