(HONG KONG) - U.S. Secretary of Defense, Leon E. Panetta A disabled boat with 72 human beings aboard departed Libya last March, with hopes of reaching a new land. Instead, what most aboard the boat found, was death. 63 people died by the time currents washed the vessel back onto the shores of Libya.

(HONG KONG) - Honourable Peter MacKay, Canada`s Minister for National Defence Sixty-three out of 72 people died on board a vessel with migrants fleeing Libya, in an episode that occurred during March and April 2011. Their journey ended where it began, on Libyan shores.

Questions exist, over whether military warships near the disabled vessel failed to render mandatory rescue and human aid.
