The Prodigy Returns to US Charts Following Keith Flint`s Death

One week after Keith Flint’s passing, the band once again topped the charts.

(SALEM, Ore.) - Keith Flint Fans have been memorializing his death in different ways. One of those significant ways according to Billboard, is three Prodigy songs – ‘Firestarter’, ‘Breathe’ and another song– have all debuted on the Hot Dance/Electronic Song Sales chart this week, with ‘Firestarter’ placing highest at number 13.

Even though Keith was the lead singer of the band there were other vocalists recorded on later records. He did sing some songs on the 2018 release “No Tourists”.

(PULLMAN, Wash.) - Leah Sheppard A Washington State University researcher says attractive businesswomen are considered less trustworthy, less truthful and more worthy of being fired than less attractive women.

This “femme fatale effect,” as she and a University of Colorado colleague call it, goes beyond a commonly accepted explanation that attractive women simply aren’t seen as fitting in traditionally masculine roles.

(SAN FRANCISCO, Calif.) - Trump It is much too early for Trump and his supporters to be gloating about the Mueller Report's conclusions as spun by Attorney General’s William Barr’s summary. What is needed is the full Mueller Report with all the underlying support. Then we can all objectively decide. Regardless, Trump is unfit for office.

The Mueller investigation did indict 26 Russian nationals and three Russian companies. These indictments provide additional support for the Intelligence Community Assessment report on Russia's consistent goals "to undermine public faith in the US democratic process, denigrate Secretary Clinton, and harm her electability and potential presidency.”

(SAN FRANCISCO, Calif.) - Politics On March 15, 2019, B***** T*******, an Australian, attacked two mosques in Christchurch, New Zealand, killing 50 and wounding several others. He posted links on Facebook that connected to a live video of the massacre from a camera mounted on his body.

The video showed unspeakable slaughter as a gunman moved through the houses of worship, saying nothing, shooting as many people as he could.

Serious Crash Injures 3 Near Grand Ronde

Hebo Hwy 22 was closed for over 2 hours

(GRAND RONDE, Ore.) - traffic crash About 7 pm this evening, a serious accident happened when a single vehicle crashed into a tree on Hwy 22 near West of the Church of the Wildwoods at milepost 15.5.

Emergency crews found 2 people entrapped in the vehicle and one on the ground. Heavy extrication was needed, with crews removing the top of the vehicle.

Salem Teen Killed in Early Morning Crash

Investigation is underway by the Salem Police traffic team

(SALEM, Ore.) - fatal teen When officers arrived they found the vehicle had in fact struck a tree and that the vehicle was occupied by five juveniles all ranging between the ages of 14 years old to 17 years old.

Four of the juveniles were transported to the Salem Hospital and to Portland area hospitals. Unfortunately, one passenger, a 17 year old, was found dead at the scene. Next of kin has been notified.

More Fire Crews Join Fight Against 189-Acre Santiam Park Fire

Much of the fire is in a high public use area

(LYONS, Ore.) - Santiam Fire The Santiam Park Fire was reported Tuesday afternoon near the North Santiam State Recreational Area off Highway 22, growing to 60 acres in the first day causing evacuation orders for nearby homes. At this time, the fire is reported to be 100 percent lined and covering 189 acres.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation. No structures have been lost and no injuries reported.

Letter to Chinese Government Asking for Release of 40 Workers

As of today, more than 40 people are still under criminal detention for simply "gathering together".

(YORK, UK) - Chinese workers I am writing to you and your government on behalf of Salem-News.com to strongly condemn the arrests and criminal detentions of some 40 workers, labour rights activists, and their supporters from 2018 to 2019.

In the summer of 2018, workers in Southern China, were dismissed for organizing their own trade union and were later criminally detained by government officials on charges of "Gathering a Crowd to Disturb Social Order".
