(SIMFEROPOL, Ukraine) - Rabbits and cats Twelve years have already passed after the last Cat year which we celebrated at the end of the last century – in 1999. And here comes an unexpected metamorphosis.

Of course we knew that the year of cat is also the year of hare or rabbit for some Asian people, but nobody expected that rabbit to come to us and pull over by all paws... his competitors.

Don't get me wrong. Since its founding, Korea has had a tradition of fierce, die-hard activism (which Koreans themselves may attribute to a diet high in garlic and red pepper, as well as their commitment to social justice), but this ferocity seemed to have gone dormant in the mid-nineties.

The Freedom Theatre in Jenin refugee camp was attacked by the Israeli army on the 27th July. Two of its members, Adnan Naghnaghiye and Bilal Saadi were taken. On the 22nd of August they were released from Israeli custody.

Students at high school near Sears headquarters demand response to campaign on Change.org; call for an end to sexual abuse at Sears factory in Jordan.

(CHICAGO) - Jordan is investigating factory sex abuse A group of high school students from Chicago, Illinois are joining a popular campaign calling on some of the biggest brands in America - including Sears and Land’s End - to pull their orders from Classic Factory in Jordan, where managers have been accused of serially raping young female workers.

The students launched a petition on Change.org following allegations that Sears has been buying garments made at Classic Factory in Jordan, where dozens of workers have accused factory managers of sexual assault.
