“I will die as a martyr,” - Gaddafi said last night. Almost certainly true.
(BEIRUT) -
So let’s erase all the YouTubes and Facebooks and the shooting and blood and gouged corpses from Benghazi, and pretend it didn’t happen.
Let’s pretend that the refusal to give visas to foreign correspondents has actually prevented us from hearing the truth. Gaddafi’s claim that the protesters in Libya – the millions of demonstrators – “want to turn Libya into an Islamic state” is exactly the same nonsense that Mubarak peddled before the end in Egypt, the very same nonsense that Obama and La Clinton have suggested.
Agency's Lack of Long-Term Disposal Solution Requires New Environmental Review Process; NRC’s Assumptions About the Impacts of Waste Disposal are Obsolete.
( WASHINGTON, D.C.) -
The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission faces two major new legal challenges to the agency’s 2010 findings that used nuclear reactor fuel and high-level radioactive waste (HLW) can be disposed of safely on a long-term basis.
New petitioners are asking the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit to overturn two NRC rules that conclude that storage and disposal of spent (or used) nuclear reactor fuel and HLW generated by spent fuel reprocessing pose no significant safety or environmental concerns.
The youngest son of the embattled ruler Muammar Gaddafi has joined the pro-democracy protesters in eastern Libya as the outpouring of rage against Gaddafi remains unabated, reports say.
(TEHRAN PRESS TV) -
