Corvallis hospital makes Salem residents comfortable.

(SALEM, Ore.) - Mario Pastega House Good health is not always a given, so we probably shouldn't take it for granted. This Thanksgiving I want to offer my gratitude to the superb medical staff at the Good Samaritan Medical Center in nearby Corvallis.

It happens that my urologist has his office located there. When a serious bladder blockage issue was discovered recently, my family opted to take surgery there to help my plumbing go mainstream.

String of Vandalism Overnight in Tigard

Tigard Police are asking the help of the community to report anything which may be helpful to locate the suspects

(TIGARD, Ore.) - Salem-News.com Many Tigard residents woke up to find either their vehicle or home vandalized overnight. Tigard Police received the first call of 14 subsequent reports at about 5:00 am Sunday morning.

A Tigard resident living along Omara St. near 97th was awakened by the sound of breaking glass. The caller stated he found shattered glass in his kitchen caused by a can of spray paint which was thrown through the window. Police seized the can as evidence.

Salem Police Arrest Suspects in Metal Theft Incidents

(SALEM, Ore.) - Salem Police Department badge At approx. 10:20am, Saturday, Salem Patrol Officers located David Taylor and Lori Dunn of Salem. Both, Taylor and Dunn were suspected of being involved in metal thefts in the Salem area and selling the metal to metal recycling businesses during the past month.

Portland Police Investigate Vandalism to Several Vehicles in East Portland
