Traffic Stop Leads to Over 20 lbs. of Marijuana Near Madras

(BEND, Ore.) - Ryan Michael Buley A Spokane, Washington man was arrested by Oregon State Police (OSP) Friday after a traffic stop nine miles south of Madras revealed over 20 1/2 lbs. of marijuana concealed in his vehicle.

On Friday at approximately 2:16 p.m. an OSP trooper stopped a 2002 Mercury Cougar sedan displaying Washington license plates northbound on Highway 97 near milepost 107 for failure to maintain a lane of travel. The vehicle's driver was identified as Ryan Michael Buley, age 25, from Spokane, Washington.

Home Price Index Declined For the First Time This Year: Home Prices in Salem Decrease

Salem home prices declined by -9.10 percent in August 2010.

(SANTA ANA, Calif.) - Home in foreclosure CoreLogic (NYSE: CLGX), a leading provider of information, analytics and business services, today released its Home Price Index (HPI) which shows that home prices in the U.S. declined for the first time this year.

According to the CoreLogic HPI, national home prices, including distressed sales, declined 1.5 percent in August 2010 compared to August 2009 and increased by 0.6 percent.

(WASHINGTON, D.C.) - Kay R. Hagan United States Senator Kay R. Hagan (D-NC) has issued a statement on the new Agency for Toxic Substances and Disease Registry (ATSDR) report detailing ground water contamination at Camp Lejeune.

“This groundbreaking report provides scientific evidence to verify what our Camp Lejeune families have known for a long time—that the water on base was contaminated with harmful chemicals,” Hagan said.

The first incident occurred at approx. 8:30am at a business in the 800 block of Highland Ave. NE. A male subject purchased some items using counterfeit $20 bills.
