(NEW ORLEANS) - Hurricane Katrina Museum Riding a wave of interest building this storm season, the Louisiana State Museum officially opened its new exhibit on living with hurricanes.

Dozens of VIPs, including the director of the National Hurricane Center Bill Read, gathered in the French Quarter to unveil the $7.5 million, 6,700-square-foot installation Living with Hurricanes: Katrina and Beyond. It documents the Gulf Coast’s devastation and rebirth.

Portland Police Make Arrest in Benson HS Shooting

(PORTLAND, Ore.) - Shooting Investigation On Sunday Portland Police officers arrested a 14-year-old boy in connection with the last week's shooting at Benson High School.

The investigation into the shooting began on Thursday when Portland Police officers responded to the report of a shooting at Benson High School, located at 546 Northeast 12th Avenue. As officers responded, school security immediately placed the school on lock-down. A volleyball game between Benson and Jefferson was occurring in the gym and Portland Night High School was holding classes for dozens of students.

Earthquake and Tsunami Rock Indonesia

Over a hundred have died and hundreds are missing.

(JAKARTA) - Frame from an AP video shows Indonesia`s Mount Merapi At 7:42 a.m. Pacific Daylight Time on 25 October, an earthquake with preliminary magnitude 7.7 occurred in southern Sumatera, Indonesia.

Experts say it was triggered by a 7.7-magnitude undersea quake that struck the Mentawai Islands late Monday, killing at least 113 people and leaving hundreds missing. At least eight of the missing according to reports, are from other nations.

(SALEM ) - New Gaza Convoy People concerned for the well being of Gaza's 1.5 million residents, set out on the 'Road to Hope Convoy' from London and are presently in Libia.

They have made good progress so far; at last count the overland convoy that set out from Europe was making its way through Libya.

Wanted Gresham Man Arrested After Fleeing Traffic Crash Near Sandy

(SANDY, Ore.) - Enedino Gonzalez Hernandez Oregon State Police (OSP), with the help of Clackamas County Sheriff's Office (CCSO) and Sandy police (SPD), arrested a Gresham man who was wanted on numerous warrants after he fled a Monday night traffic crash on Highway 26 at Orient Drive west of Sandy.

According to OSP Trooper Tyler Bechtel, on October 25, 2010 at approximately 8:44 p.m. a 1990 Nissan pickup driven by Enedino Gonzalez Hernandez, age 30, from Gresham, was westbound on Highway 26 approaching the intersection with Orient Drive near milepost 22.

Disturbance in Salem Leads to Prostitution, Sexual Assault Charges

(SALEM, Ore.) - Left: Curtis Bunch Right: John Gentile A 48-year old Monmouth resident and a 38-year old Junction City resident were arrested early Saturday morning on multiple charges related to assault, prostitution and the sexual assault of a juvenile female.

The incident began at approximately 10:55 pm on Friday, October 23rd when Salem Police Officers responded to the Crosslands Motel located at 3535 Fisher Rd NE on a report of a disturbance involving a knife.
