Oregon; A State of Transit Deception

Without real change, Oregon will remain a state of transit deception; superior now but in serious trouble for the future.

(PORTLAND, Ore.) - Public transportation in Oregon Look around the Willamette Valley and you will see the Max train running through Portland, buses riding through neighborhoods, and trains that cross state lines into Washington.

You may see all of this and think Oregon has public transportation pretty well figured out, as most people do, and reside in the comfort that with all the problems our country faces today, at least Oregon can get from point A to point B better than anyone else in America.

(ROME) - The valley of the Jordan Deprived of water and electricity, surrounded by settlements and imprisoned in a large closed military zone under occupation since 1967, the Jordan Valley’s residents resist.

A delegation from the organisation Assopace, led by Luisa Morgantini, former Vice President of the EP, visited the Jordan Valley and met with the local communities.

California Medical Marijuana doctors and others elsewhere have discovered from parents of autistic children that cannabis/marijuana works for many.

(MOLALLA, Ore.) - The mother of Joey Perez says medical marijuana baked into brownies saved her autistic son`s life. I am constrained to write this new story about successful Autism treatment because of an article I just read from TIME magazine May 25, 2009 titled HOW AUTISM AGES. It is a frightening story both for what severe damage it did to the family but also the psychological destruction it did to the autistic person.

He had been viciously mistreated both physically and pharmaceutically by a whole bunch of pseudo-experts who in some retrospection did not have a clue what they were doing...

Demonstrators Protest Local Newspaper Over Racism

Former prison guard's determination for fighting prison racism sees a new front.

(SALEM, Ore.) - Still photos by Dexter Phoenix, video by Tim King, Jerry Freeman and Joy Graves. A group of demonstrators in Salem are angry with a local newspaper for ignoring racism, corruption and Civil Rights violations against African Americans; both inmates and guards, in the state prison.

The protest was led by former Corrections Officer William Coleman of Salem, who suffered extreme retaliation over blowing the whistle on racism in Oregon Corrections.

On 26 July 2010 Israeli police armed with tear gas, a water canon and two helicopters forced the 200 Bedouin residents of the southern Israeli village of al-Arakib out of their homes.
