FARC to Join Global Jihad

Uribe already sees eye-to-eye with the Israelis on a sufficient number of issues to discredit the flotilla probe as an impartial endeavor.

(ISTANBUL) - Alvaro Uribe avoids retirement. The four-member United Nations panel appointed to investigate the May 31 Israeli attack on the Mavi Marmara which killed 9 people is scheduled to have its first meeting today.

An August 3 AFP article noting the “surprising U-turn from the Israelis” in deciding to support the flotilla probe—a rare instance of Israeli cooperation with the U.N.—fails to note that the U-turn is perhaps not so surprising given the appointment as panel Vice Chairman of outgoing Colombian President Alvaro Uribe, whose expertise in the realm of security will thus not be lost with the end of his presidential term.

Labor Day Fallout

Most Guys Don't Retire To Be Hit With Chores!

(SALEM, Ore.) - Salem-News.com With Labor Day beckoning, now is the ideal time to get this mini grievance off my chest and share it with an empathic world. For the record, I did not retire from being a social worker/counselor to transfer to being a f/t male housewife!

Am I merely a voice in the wilderness in declaring my determination to savor my new-found leisure time? I prefer to think otherwise.

Narcotic Maker Guilty of Deceit Over Marketing

"Into an endless grave I fall. Only God will understand, why I'm more than gone" - Deathalizer

(MYRTLE BEACH, S.C.) - Photographs by Don Petersen for The New York Times From left, Howard R. Udell, the top lawyer for Purdue Pharma; Dr. Paul D. Goldenheim, the company’s former medical director; and Michael Friedman, Purdue’s former president. Since the criminal prosecution in Federal Court of the three CEO's of Purdue Pharma in July 2007, anyone curious as to what these guys are doing with themselves these days?

It's not like they are hurting for money. After all, they made a fortune out of marketing a very dangerous drug called OxyContin as less likely to be addictive or abused resulting in scores of deaths and addictions throughout the U.S. and Canada.

This type of harassment has been going on for over 62 years… ENOUGH ALREADY!

(BETHLEHEM) - Salem-News.com writer, Professor Mazin Qumsiyeh, a former Duke and Yale professor, is hauled away by Israeli soldiers for taking part in a peace demonstration. My Associate, Mazin Qumsiyeh, had his day in court today….. again….

Just days before his appearance he called the ongoing harassment of himself and other activists a blatant attempt by Israeli authorities to stifle dissent, and to silence those who would dare to speak out publicly against Israeli policies in the West Bank.

Marijuana Medical Journal: the Best is O`Shaughnessy`s

Getting to know one of the oldest marijuana related publications.

(MOLALLA, Ore.) - O’Shaughnessey’s This must be about the tenth year that this amazing publication has come out. I am lucky enough to have a copy of every edition.

Camp Lejeune`s Sickness and Unexpected Déjà Vu

The people who fight this battle every day are ill veterans and family members. They have no champion, no General, no Admiral.

(ST. PETERSBURG, Fla.) - Camp Lejeune “Kidney Cancer – first dad now mom” was the title of the first posting I saw on the Discussion Board of the website “The Few, The Proud, The Forgotten”.

The details of the posting made my heart sink into my boots. Once again, a new member had joined the discussion, looking for information and help. Once again, the story was tragic beyond belief. All as a result of exposure to contamination at Camp Lejeune.
