Is it the Time for Texas Brewery Sales?

The lone star state is undergoing "the popularity of brews" growing pains.

(SALEM, Ore.) - Texas breweries Texans have sure come to love their craft beers. Maybe it’s all those immigrants from California, but customers are not so quick to order Shiner or Lone Star. At least that’s true of the new urban Texans.

Texas beverage law is having some trouble keeping up with all the changes. Austin, Dallas-Ft. Worth, Houston, and San Antonio all have guided tours to breweries in those cities and the countryside nearby, but you won’t find such trendy tastings in East or West Texas. And, no Texas breweries have been permitted to sell their products to visitors or walk-in customers.

Proposed Permanent Rules for the Oregon Medical Marijuana Program

Changes to OMMP are coming again. Review and comment.

(SALEM, Ore.) - oregon capitol The Oregon Health Authority (OHA), Public Health Division is proposing to permanently adopt and amend rules in chapter 333, divisions 7 and 64 related to marijuana labeling, and marijuana laboratory sampling and testing; and permanently adopt, amend and repeal rules in chapter 333, division 8 pertaining to medical marijuana growers, processors, dispensaries and patient cards.

In order to protect public health and safety, these rules propose to adopt additional requirements for ordered tests, amend certain standards for the sampling and testing of marijuana items.

Hundreds of Thousands of Private Medical Records at Stake in Oregon Courts

The privacy risk to 250,000 patients is very real.

(PORTLAND, Ore.) - Paul Stanford Over 250,000 private medical records, submitted by patients seeking medical cannabis recommendations in Oregon, Washington, California, Michigan and Hawaii have been forcibly removed by a for-profit Canadian company through a hostile takeover of the Empower Clinics, formerly known as the THCF Clinics.

THCF Clinics were founded by longtime cannabis and industrial hemp activist Paul Stanford in 2001. Through an incomplete deal with Canadian venture capitalists affiliated with the oil and mining industries, Stanford’s businesses have been forcibly taken over.

(OCCUPIED PALESTINE) - Basil of Al-Walaja In 2009, I met Basil and Shireen and started joining them in demonstrations in Al-Walaja village. On 6 March 2017, Basil was murdered by the Israeli army. He was 31-years old.

Resistance is normal reaction [to this]... Palestine is a microcosm of the world, its history that of mankind. What happens here is an indicator of things to come around the world.”

UPDATED: McMinnville Shooting Leaves One Dead and One Injured

NAMES HAVE BEEN RELEASED. A juvenile male has been taken into custody.

(McMINNVILLE, Ore.) - oregon shooting A woman was found dead and a man injured after a shooting was reported in McMinnville today. Officers responded to the call at 4:55 in the 400 block of NE Oregon Street.

During the preliminary stages of the investigation officers located a single deceased adult female and a single adult male with injuries. The injured adult male is currently receiving medical treatment.

Suspects Sought in Waldport Cannabis Dispensary Theft

(LINCOLN COUNTY, Ore.) - suspects Yesterday, at approximately 10:30 am, James Bryan and Carrie Hurley entered the Waldport Dispensary located at 250 SW Highway 101 in Waldport, Oregon.

During their time inside the business, they stole approximately $300.00 in various products. Through tips from the community, as well as surveillance footage, the two have been developed as suspects.
