The new American drug policy is easy to understand. America is telling the world it can no longer eradicate opium/heroin production because “poor farmers” are going to suffer.
In truth, the poppy fields America now protects are run by drug lords with ties to the Karzai regime.

Every May 15th since the creation of the state of Israel in 1948, the Palestinian Exodus from the Holy Land, is acknowledged as Nakba, meaning their "day of the catastrophe".
This commemorates the day Palestinians were expelled from their towns and villages began when Israeli troops forced them from their land and created over 750,000 refugees.

In its weekly report on Israeli human rights violations in the Occupied Palestinian Territories, the Palestinian Center for Human Rights found that during the week of 06-12 May 2010, an infant died from tear gas inhalation fired by Israeli forces in Beit Ummar village, north of Hebron.
In addition, 3 Palestinian civilians, including a child, were wounded by Israeli gunfire in the West Bank.

Protesters demanded justice and demanded the government and the Jerusalem Municipality to stop their racist policies against the Arabs and the Palestinians in the city.

The Israeli police detained on Friday at least 30 left-wing protestors in Sheikh Jarrah Arab neighborhood in occupied East Jerusalem.
One protester was evacuated to a Jerusalem hospital suffering cuts and bruises.

Bank Robbery Suspect Tammy Lynn Hall Arrested - Interstate 5 in Salem

OSP troopers and Salem police blocked northbound traffic while conducting a high risk stop. Hall and the unidentified male were taken into custody without further incident.

OSP troopers and Salem police arrested a wanted female bank robbery suspect on Interstate 5 in Salem Friday afternoon.
The woman was the subject of a Thursday FBI Portland news release.
