Woman Arrested for Stabbing Two People in Downtown Portland

Chetnik was associated with the two victims.

(PORTLAND, Ore.) - Officers arrived in the area and located two people, a male and a female, suffering from knife wounds. Both were transported to the hospital by ambulance for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.

Officers located Chetnik in the area, and a fourth person involved in the altercation.

Sly Salem Woman Arrested After Stealing Police Car

She manipulate her handcuffs and escaped from the rear seat of the patrol vehicle.

(SALEM, Ore.) - A Salem woman is in custody on multiple charges following an incident where she was able to manipulate her restraints and steal a Salem Police patrol vehicle.

The incident began at approximately 3:15 pm when Salem Police officers contacted 25-year old Rebecca J Payne of Salem. She was at a motel and had valid warrants for her arrest.

41 Orphans From Aleppo Will Live in Jarablus

The other six orphans will live with their relatives in Idlib.

(SALEM, Ore.) - Monday morning around 10:40, deputies were called to Santana Village Park in southeast Salem, after a victim reported being robbed at gun point.

The suspect is a white male adult, 6' tall, thin, wearing a black hooded sweatshirt with red trim, black baseball hat and blue jeans.

Stranded Loggerhead Sea Turtle Passes Away

Loggerhead sea turtles (Caretta caretta) are one of the rarer species of sea turtle to strand on Oregon beaches

(NEWPORT, Ore.) - The cold-stunned loggerhead sea turtle that came to the Oregon Coast Aquarium Sunday morning has unfortunately succumbed to its injuries.

The animal was found washed ashore at Crescent Beach in Ecola State Park on Saturday. Staff from Seaside Aquarium recovered the animal and assisted in transferring it to Newport Sunday morning.
