(KAUA‘I, Hawaii) - Newell’s shearwater Four citizen groups have advised Kaua‘i Island Utility Cooperative (KIUC) of their intent to sue over its failure to prevent the continuing deaths of rare native seabirds.

Notice was sent to the electric utility company that its long-standing refusal to implement measures to protect Hawaiian petrels and Newell’s shearwaters from fatal collisions with its power lines violates the Endangered Species Act.

Beaverton Sex Abuse Suspect Arrested in Panama

The suspect is charged with first-degree Sodomy and first-degree Sex Abuse.

(BEAVERTON, Ore.) - 68-year old Philip Leland Riley Beaverton Police were called to investigate a sex abuse allegation on November 15, 2008, at the YMCA, 4925 SW Griffith Drive, Beaverton.
