Head-on Traffic Crash Injures OSP Trooper

Highway 20W was closed about 4 1/2 hours during the scene investigation.

(TUMALO, Ore.) - car crash A Sisters-area man and an Oregon State Police recruit trooper both received non life-threatening injuries Wednesday.

The collision happened on Highway 20W west of Tumalo near Tweed Road, according to Deschutes County Sheriff's Office Sergeant Dan Swearingen, on January 7, 2010 at about 8:22 a.m. DCSO, OSP, Bend Fire Department, Cloverdale Fire Department, Black Butte Ranch Police Department and ODOT responded to a reported head-on traffic crash involving an OSP trooper.

Isn`t Hit and Run at Sea Illegal?

The area where this incident occurred was still in Australian controlled waters. That whaler ship "apparently" was whaling illegally there anyway.

(SALEM, Ore.) - Sea Shepard trimaran was rammed by Japanese whaler In the recent case of the Japanese whaler ramming an activist boat near Antarctica, you can clearly see that the Japanese ship was heading straight for the Sea Shepherd stealth ship.

Their full intentions by doing that, via constantly aiming and shooting off water cannons at the boat, were quite obvious.

Death Investigation: Body Located at Base of Cape Lookout

Once the body has been positively identified, investigators will work with out-of-state authorities to help notify next of kin.

(TILLAMOOK, Ore.) - Cape Lookout and the beach below Oregon State Police, with the assistance of Tillamook County Medical Examiner and Tillamook County Sheriff's Office, are investigating the circumstances surrounding the discovery of a deceased male on a rocky section of beach near the base of a cliff in Cape Lookout State Park.

There is no indication that the death is the result of a crime and positive identification is pending according to OSP Sergeant Todd Hoodenpyl.
