Two Young Veterans Walk and Bike Across Country with a Message of Peace

The men plan to cover roughly 600 more miles, passing through one more state, reaching San Francisco by the beginning of November.

(SALEM, Ore.) - Veterans marching across nation Armed with only bikes and packs containing essentials and items to document their journey, Josh Stieber and John Conor Curran are on the move.

The Iraq War veterans are traveling across the country on foot and bicycles, spreading a message of peace on what they call the “Contagious Love Experiment”.

Pacific City Man Arrested for Murder in Missing Albany Fisherman Case

John Curtis Adkins has been missing since last July.

(PACIFIC CITY, Ore.) - 47-year old Erin Dean Rieman of Pacific City A Pacific City man is under arrest on Murder charges. Police say the arrest is connected to the disappearance of an Albany man missing since last July, who was the owner of a 47' fishing vessel.

The suspect was arrested in Oregon and is pending extradition to Washington State for arraignment related to the murder of 53-year old John Curtiss Adkins.
