Aloha Man Indicted for Friend`s Death After Heroin Use

Mr. Corzo-Bernal had used heroin a few times but was not a regular user.

(ALOHA, Ore.) - Kaleb Abraham A Washington County man was arrested last week after a grand jury indicted him on Manslaughter charges stemming from a fatal drug overdose. Eluard Corzo-Bernal died earlier this year after an overdose on heroin left him unconscious and not breathing.

Instead of calling 911, Abraham drove Corzo-Bernal to the hospital, wasting vital time when paramedics could be treating Corzo-Bernal.

German National Pleads Guilty to Smuggling Coral from the Philippines

Discovery of shipping containers full of illegal coral in Oregon led to indictment.

(WASHINGTON D.C.) - Unrelated photo of coral from the scientific order Scleractinia Gunther Wenzek, a German national, pleaded guilty Wednesday before District Judge Anna J. Brown of the U.S. District Court for the District of Oregon to one count of smuggling coral into the United States at the port of Portland, Oregon, the Justice Department announced.

Law enforcement officials arrested Wenzek in February 2009 when he entered the United States at Dulles airport outside of Washington, D.C., en route to a pet exposition in Orlando, Florida.

Police Confirm Fatality in Highway 101 Crash South of Cannon Beach

OSP troopers from the Astoria Area Command office and OSP collision reconstructionists are continuing the investigation.

(CANNON BEACH, Ore.) - Fatal crash Police say one person died and four others were injured Wednesday evening in a two vehicle head-on crash on Highway 101 about one mile north of the Arch Cape tunnel south of Cannon Beach.

Oregon State Police troopers are continuing the investigation and the highway may be re-opened by midnight. All names will be released Thursday morning.

Fatal Traffic Crash Blocking Highway 101 South of Cannon Beach

Drivers planning to drive south of Cannon Beach should be prepared for delays at minimum.

(CANNON BEACH, Ore.) - Fatal crash Oregon State Police are on the scene of a fatal head-on crash on Highway 101 north of Arch Cape tunnel about six miles south of Cannon Beach.

OSP reports that the head-on crash with a confirmed fatality has Highway 101 blocked, with Oregon State Police troopers and local emergency agencies responding and on scene.

(MOLALLA, Ore.) - An American soldier looks toward in International Security Assistance Forces vehicle and a British soldier. I’m not talking about swearing here but most of the time we had much to swear about. Being treated like half-trained hunting dogs was the worst.

It seemed we green as grass DOGFACES were supposed to know more about soldiering than our sergeants or looeys (some of us did!).

Bank Robbery Suspect Sought in Salem

It happened at the Key Bank, located at 750 Lancaster Drive NE. The suspect is described as a white male, between 50 and 60 years of age, with a gray hoodie over a gray button up shirt.

(SALEM, Ore.) - Suspect at the Key Bank Robbery in Salem 10-14-09 Deputies are searching for an Armed Robbery suspect in Salem who they say robbed the Key Bank in Salem today at 3:00 p.m.

Calls came in just after the incident and deputies from the Marion County Sheriff's Office showed up shortly after 3:00 to interview witnesses and take reports.
