Who`s Got Your Back?

The simple truth is – you can go farther than you ever imagined when someone has your back.

(CHARLESTON, S.C.) - Team Hoyt It’s an amazing story that perhaps you have heard. I read it again recently in a story by Rick Reilly for Sports Illustrated. The Father-son duo of Rick and Dick Hoyt are an amazing team.

Militants in Afghanistan Are Learning the Vietnam Model

What were our strategic goals in Afghanistan? Now that any goal seems implausible, no benchmarks to be reached, should we negotiate a withdrawal as in Iraq?

(CINCINATTI, Ohio) - Wreckage outside Kabul, Afghanistan by Tim King I remember reading about "hearts and minds" and how it was the key to a victory in Vietnam. I also remember walking thru villages in Vietnam on my way out into the hills. Seeing people raising children during a vicious war was a reminder of what war is about.

We are always meaning well, we love saying that, but left broken lives, poisoned soil and decades of bitterness behind us.

War Casualties in Afghanistan: Is There Any End in Sight?

The average age of the 28 individuals listed in this report is 25.6. This represents a higher average age than we have seen in the previous two reports.

(SALEM, Ore.) - War casualties If there is one thing I look forward to as a reporter, it is the day that we don't have to issue reports about large numbers of Americans losing their lives in the fighting overseas. I try in these reports to examine these losses from different angles, and when possible note any patterns.

The only thing that immediately stands out in this report, is that the majority of the fallen hail from states that supported George W. Bush's politics. It seems apparent that the families in these states back the war efforts that Bush launched, and noteworthy that they also pay the highest price.

Will Israel Ensure that History Repeats Itself?

As with the fixed intelligence that induced the U.S. to war in Iraq, sources of conflict are obscured by a compliant and complicit media with an undisclosed pro-Israeli bias.

(TEMPE, Az.) - The lead-up to the first U.S.-Iran talks in three decades saw a replay of the same modus operandi that induced the U.S. and its allies to invade Iraq in March 2003. Then as now, the invasion of Iran is consistent with a regime change agenda for Greater Israel described in a 1996 strategy document prepared by Jewish-Americans for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

As with Iraq, the threat of weapons of mass destruction is again marketed as a causa belli. As with Iraq, the claim is disputed by weapons inspectors and intelligence analysts. The Iraqi program had been shut down a dozen years before the invasion.

America`s Vital Crossroad

America is at a crossroad, and the decision of which to follow is critical to its future. It must outgrow the belligerent adolescence of the past and demonstrate to the world at large that it is capable of adult and rational judgment and conduct.

(PASO ROBLES, Calif.) - The United States needs to get out of Afghanistan; after eight years fighting, and with the recent history of Russia’s experience and withdraw, there are more reasons to go than to stay.

The fact is, the war cannot be won any more than was the Iraq War won, and for all the same reasons.

Into the Dark: America`s Descent into a Police State

Manipulated America: Divided we Fall.

(CINCINATTI, Ohio) - Newsweek fiction cover Top US officials are reported to have been selling US nuclear weapons secrets around the world as part of a spy ring which includes members of Congress from both parties.
