Mike Tyson`s Daughter On Life Support Following Accident at Home

Exodus Tyson was found by her 7-year old brother, who in turn informed his mom in another part of the house.

(PHOENIX, Az. ) - Mike Tyson Media sources report that the 4-year old daughter of former boxing champ Mike Tyson, Exodus Tyson, was discovered hanging by a treadmill extension cord cable around 10:30 a.m. Monday morning.

Exodus is on life support equipment at St. Joseph's Hospital and Medical Center in Phoenix.

(FOREST GROVE, Ore.) - Serious crash in Forest Grove 5-25-09 Firefighters from Forest Grove and Banks responded to a three-car motor vehicle and mass casualty incident accident this evening at approximately 6:30 p.m.

The serious injury crash happened at the intersection of NW Wilson River Highway and NW Gales Creek Road in rural Washington County Monday evening.

U.S. Calls on Israel to Sign Historic Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty

It was publicly announced in March of last year that in spite of claims to the contrary, Israel possesses hundreds of nuclear weapons.

(SALEM, Ore.) - Salem-News.com The Israeli government has been asked by U.S. officials to sign the historic Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty. Such a request would have been completely unknown even in the recent past. Israeli officials are reportedly unsure of exactly what to do.

With help from the U.S. and other Western governments and media organizations, Israel has been able to keep its extensive long-term U.S.- sponsored nuclear weapons program under the radar for many years. That is, until former President Jimmy Carter spelled it out during a public appearance in Wales last year.

In 1999, U.S. government officials recovered the bodies of 19 Marine Raiders who were killed fighting on Makin Island in August, 1942. With the help of a local islander who actually remembered the Marine landing, they were finally recovered and brought home, almost six decades later.

(GAZA Rress TV) - Israeli soldiers looting a sewing workshop in Hebron War is big business, and the Israeli war machine and industry are no exception. And, not to be left out, it seems that Israeli foot soldiers have decided to put privateering back into private enterprise too.

On May 20th, The Jerusalem Post reported that a soldier from the Givati Brigade was taken before a military court charged with looting, by way of stealing a Palestinian's credit card during Operation Cast Lead in the Gaza Strip earlier this year and withdrawing money at Israeli ATMs.

(TEHRAN Press TV) - Iranian Shahed 285 military helicopter The Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC)'s latest homemade attack helicopter, the Shahed (Witness) 285, has joined Iran's aerial fleet.

The Shahed 285 was unveiled Sunday on the anniversary of the 1982 liberation of the Iranian city Khoramshahr -- which was occupied by Iraqi forces during the 1980-88 war.

Warriors and War-Makers: Reflections on Memorial Day 2009

America has done some things in its past of which I am not proud. It has done many more things, in my judgment, that merit praise.

(JACKSON, Miss.) - Images of warriors and war makers Memorial Day in the United States is a time for remembrance and reflection. We think of those who have served in our wars, remember in particular those who have died, and hold in our hearts the memories of those whose service and sacrifice have allowed Americans to celebrate our own lives.

This is as it should be, and most countries have similar holidays. Yet in the world in which we live, and whose conflicts are so much a part of our lives, we also need to look hard not only at our warriors, but also at our war-makers: those whose decisions send them into battle.

(CALGARY, Alberta) - Royal Canadian Mounted Police looming above Mr. Dziekanski On October 14, 2007, 40 year-old Robert Dziekański arrived at Vancouver International airport from Poland after a flight of nearly 24 hours.

He was emigrating to Canada to live with his mother in Kamloops, B.C. The plan she offered was for them to meet by the baggage carousel. What she didn’t realize was that the carousel was in a secure area to which she had no access. This, otherwise insignificant, error cost Dziekański his life.
