OLCC Approves Cannabis Tracking System 3rd Party Software Providers

Allows for Integration with Point of Sale, Inventory Systems Eliminates Need for Double Entry

(PORTLAND, Ore.) - metrc olcc The Oregon Liquor Control Commission and Metrc(TM) have approved four software solution providers whose products are compatible for integration with the Oregon Recreational Marijuana Program Cannabis Tracking System (CTS).

These products will allow OLCC recreational marijuana licensees to electronically transmit inventory and sales data into the CTS.

Mosier Train Derailment Environmental Cleanup Progressing

Officials say all oil has been "transloaded" from the site.

(MOSIER, Ore.) - Mosier train On June 3, sixteen tanker cars carrying Bakken crude oil derailed, four of those cars caught fire releasing an estimated 42,000 gallons of crude oil into the environment.

The cars were part of a 96-car train carrying Bakken crude oil to Tacoma, Wash.

1200 Homes Threatened by 2,000-Acre Akawana Fire

The fire is burning in heavy brush and beetle-killed Ponderosa pine.

(SISTERS, Ore.) - The Akawana Fire The 2,000-acre Akawana Fire reported June 7 is burning 13 miles north of the town of Sisters in the Oregon Dept. of Forestry's Central Oregon District on private lands.

ODF fire managers expect continued growth over the next 24 hours as wind is forecast to persist. The fire is threatening approximately 1,200 homes in the Three Rivers subdivision near Lake Billy Chinook.
