No one would debate the challenges faced by less-abled people, but forcing monkeys to bridge the gap is taking an injustice done to one and placing it on another.

The Helping Hands training program removes infant monkeys from their mothers within days or weeks of birth—separations that are extremely traumatic for both mother and baby.

Arsenic Testing in Residential Wells Passes Senate

SB 739 will require home sellers to test for additional chemicals.

(SALEM, Ore.) - Oregon state capitol Arsenic will be added to the list of chemicals tested in residential wells under legislation passed today in the Senate.

Since 1989, Oregon law has required that a seller of any real estate that includes a well that supplies ground water for domestic purposes must test for nitrate and total coliform bacteria. SB 739 will add arsenic to that list.

Aggravated 1st Degree Murder Plea Entered on Powell Road Investigation from June

Sheriff Bill Mahoney says its one more example of the great cooperation among local law enforcement agencies.

(KELSO, Wash.) - Gavel The Cowlitz County Sheriff's Office announced today that Matthew Wayne Fillmore, a 21-year old Tacoma resident, pled guilty to Aggravated Murder 1st degree last week in Pierce County Superior Court.

On June 17, 2008, Cowlitz County investigators responded to a location on Powell Road, just outside of Castle Rock, where the body of the victim, Jerry Shirk, had been found.

Oregon Governor Hits the Road for Hunger Awareness Week (AUDIO)

The number of people requesting emergency food boxes is up about 30 percent in his area.

(ONTARIO, Ore.) - Oregon Governor Ted Kulongoski It's Hunger Awareness Week in Oregon through May 3, and food bank locations are scrambling to meet record demand in many areas of the state.

To help drum up donations, on Thursday and Friday Gov. Ted Kulongoski will hop aboard an Oregon Food Bank truck to run a multi-city delivery route to eastern Oregon.

People keep using it because it works not because they are addicts.

(MOLALLA, Ore.) - Scene from the movie I first wrote about this subject a year ago about Dr. Andrea Andrea Barthwell, the attack Pit Bull for former Drug Czar John Walters who didn’t have one good word for medical marijuana, but she was working for the Sativex Company which makes medicine from, guess what, marijuana!

For anyone with a lick of sense, the movie Reefer Madness was the funniest, most grotesque movie ever produced by bad actors pimping a very bad script but it has probably been seen by millions of extremely gullible viewers who believed it.

Police Charge Three Juveniles With Arson

Charges against the young suspects include second-degree Arson, second-degree Burglary, Reckless Burning and second-degree Trespass.

(SALEM, Ore.) - 3266 Orchard Heights Road NW in Salem Three West Salem juveniles face charges in connection with an arson fire Sunday that resulted in no injuries, but did lead to the loss of a turn of the century area home.
