Directory Threatens Business with Sketchy Invoice

BBB recommends caution when doing business with Blue Yellow Book.

(LAKE OSWEGO, Ore.) - Blue Yellow Book Your Better Business Bureau phone staff have received complaints from businesses who say a company called Blue Yellow Book or blueyellowbook.com is contacting them with a dishonest request.

“I was in tears,” said Sallie Norman, a business owner in Sterling, Alaska, after being contacted in an aggressive manner by Blue Yellow Book. “They scare the daylights out of you.”

Blue Yellow Book, at 20533 Biscayne Blvd., Suite 635 in Miami, has an “F” rating with your BBB. This is BBB’s lowest rating, meaning that we strongly question the company’s reliability. BBB has received 20 complaints in the past 36 months concerning Blue Yellow Book; 19 are closed unanswered.

House Passes Bill Banning Dangerous Toylike Novelty Lighters

Bill is part of House Democrats' 2009 Roadmap for Oregon's future.

(SALEM, Ore.) - The House of Representative today passed HB 2365 banning themanufacture, sale, and distribution of dangerous and deceptive, toylike novelty lighters on a unanimous vote.

Readily available at hardware stores, gas stations, and convenience stores, toy-like novelty lighters are easily mistaken for toys and routinely contribute to unintentional fires and injuries to children and families.

"As a former police officer and current firefighter, I'm happy to see we're taking an active role in protecting our children and families from burn injury, death, and property loss," explained Representative Greg Matthews (D-Gresham).

Mr Sohi's family says it is very important that they find closure and the person responsible for his untimely death.

(PORTLAND, Ore.) - Gurdev Sohi On February 4th 2008, Gurdev Sohi was murdered while working at the Delco gas station he owned located at 17873 SE McLoughlin Blvd.

Investigators say the murder occurred between 6:00 a.m. and 6:20 a.m. that morning.

The suspect in this case is a male, estimated to be 5’10” to 6’1” in height with and average build. The suspect then fled in an unknown make and model sedan.
