New Military Charity Promotes `Civilians for Service Members`

Task Force G.I. Concentrates on Creating Military Service Member Opportunity While Addressing Overseas Environment and Educational Needs.

(SEATTLE) - Patriotic flag image Task Force G.I. is a non-profit Military charity that has been developed for the exclusive benefit of current and future members of the Armed Forces.

The program concentrates on five programs developed specifically to enhance overall overseas deployment environments and further the pursuit of obtaining educational degrees for enlisted members on active duty status with the five branches of service.

The Emotional Abuse of Israeli Advocacy

Most people in Israel who want peace say it's the American Jews and other Diaspora lobbies raising the money for the hate propaganda and the campaigns to elect war criminals in Israel and so on.

(BOSTON) - Rescue worker carries a child injured in a recent Israeli bombing attack on Gaza City Gideon Levy a Ha'aretz newspaper reporter recently asked: "If Israelis were so sure of the rightness of their cause, why the violent intolerance they display toward everyone who tries to make a different case?"

In "Survival Instinct or Jewish Paranoia?" my favorite shrink, ex-Israeli Avigail Barbanel writes that, "The implications of seeing the conflict from within the lens of Jewish trauma are very serious.

Can we really negotiate with this? Can we explain to Israelis that their perspective on life and on the conflict is seriously flawed? If we tried will they listen, and do the Palestinians have time to wait until they do?"

Keizer Firefighters Join Stairclimb Event for Fifth Year

The stair climb takes place each year at the Columbia Center Building in Seattle, Washington. At 788 feet in height, it is the tallest building in Seattle and the second tallest building west of the Mississippi river.

(KEIZER, Ore.) - Keizer, Oregon fire engine A team of twelve Firefighters from the Keizer Fire District will travel to Seattle, Washington on Sunday, March 8, 2009 to participate in the 18th Annual Scott Firefighter Stairclimb.

Fire District Spokesman Jim Trett, says this event, of 1,500 entrants from around the globe, is the largest individual firefighter competition in the world and is a fund raising event for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.

Climber Falls at Rocky Butte (PHOTO SERIES)

It's estimated that the man fell approximately 35 feet.

(PORTLAND, Ore.) - Rescue at Rocky Butte, Oregon 2-3-09 Portland Fire & Rescue was dispatched to a report of a fallen climber on Rocky Butte today at about 4:00 p.m.

Lt. Allen Oswalt with Portland Fire, says firefighters arrived within a few minutes but had trouble getting an exact location from the caller.

"Rocky Butte has many trails and most are unmarked so locating an injured person is always a challenge. After about 30 minutes firefighters located the victim and began treating his injuries."
