Hood River Company Recognized for Responsible Handling of Human Remains

Beam & Couch showed that companies can work ethically and still complete their projects in a timely manner, instead of covering up the discoveries in hopes that will save time and money

(HOOD RIVER, Ore.) - Excavation bucket Beam & Couch Excavation Co. of Hood River has been honored by the Heritage Programs of the Oregon Parks and Recreation Department for its handling of the discovery of human remains during an excavation project.

In November, while digging a trench, a company crew discovered human remains, immediately stopped work and contacted local authorities. A high probability that the remains were Native American was determined so the State Police and the State Historic Preservation Office (SHPO) were notified. The two agencies worked with the appropriate Native American Tribes to treat the remains sensitively.

Both the SHPO and the participating Tribes are thankful for the prompt response and respectful treatment of the remains by Beam and Couch Excavation Co. Tara Gauthier, an archaeologist with the Confederated Tribes of Warm Springs, stated that the excavators, along with the property owner, "were all very helpful, and did their best to do the right thing. Because of their help we were able to quickly return the ancestral remains to the ground."

Dreadful Diseases: Dreadful Mistreatment:
Quadriplegia, Multiple Sclerosis, Epilepsy, ALS

Successful treatment with cannabis.

(MOLALLA, Ore.) - Dr. Phillip Leveque was dubbed Here is the really weird part. These patients are severely disabled, bedfast or house-bound with a few in wheel chairs. The Oregon Medical board demanded that I see these patients IN MY OFFICE. This was cruel, stupid and impossible. They revoked my license because I didn’t force them to come in.

I arranged these in order on purpose. I was a trained Ph.D. Pharmacologist 22 years before I was a physician and I heard about cannabis about 1928, 50 years ago. I sold newspapers in the red-light district of Klamath Falls, Oregon. All of the newsboys smoked cigarette butts and I tried it myself. I was 5 years old.

There were some Mexican kids who were smoking “loco weed”. I knew what weed meant and many of my customers smoked tobacco. It took me a while to find out what “loco” meant. (This is an aside).

Logical Thinking

I do not doubt God has a plan, but I believe, on the basis of what we know from History and Science, not excluding common-sense, that His plan is concerned more with the large than small details.

(PASO ROBLES, Calif.) - Sunset on the Oregon Coast Bibles differ, a reasonable truth considering how many versions have been published over time for various denominations

At a concert performed in a Lutheran Church I perused the Book of Isaiah and was surprised that some words were missing in its Bible compared to the one I researched I checked my Bible when I got home and there it was; . If something is not mentioned in the Bible it doesn’t mean God is unaware of it. But if a thing is in the Bible, and is changed or eliminated, what of God; is the Bible the work of man after all? As for the missing passage, the so-called miracle of turning water into wine is explained by replacing a watered-down bottle with an undiluted bottle of wine; simple enough.

The Gospels of Matthew and Mark [Matthew: 21; 1-11 and Mark: 11; 1-10]. tell of Jesus who, to fulfill prophecy, asked for and rode into Jerusalem on the back of an untamed ass, an event celebrated today by Christians as Good Friday.

The man’s name was Angus McGillivray. Angus was a Scottish prisoner in one of the camps filled with American’s, Australians, and Britons who had helped build the infamous Bridge over the River Kwai. The camp had become an ugly situation. A dog-eat dog mentality had set in. Allies would literally steal from each other and cheat each other; men would sleep with their packs and yet have them stolen from under their heads.
