(COTTAGE GROVE, Ore.) - Michael T. Bresnahan One of Massachusetts' Most Wanted fugitives was captured Monday night after he tried to outrun police along a railroad track in Cottage Grove, Oregon.

Salem Police Investigate Multiple Gunshot Victims and Homicide

The shooting is under investigation. Of the three victims, one person died at the hospital, one was life flighted to a Portland Hospital and one was treated and released.

(SALEM, Ore. ) - Salem Police say a report of a gunshot early Sunday morning led to the discovery of three gunshot victims who had been driven to Salem Hospital in a private automobile. Salem Police Lt. Dave Okada says a call about the reported gunshots was received around 3:30 AM.

Salem Police responded to the area of 5th and Locust NE to investigate, and then learned a short time later that a vehicle had arrived at the Salem Hospital with three gunshot victims.

Stepfather Faces Murder Charge in Happy Valley

The autopsy reveals Michael Joshua Chapman died at the scene of the crime as a result of multiple stab wounds.

(HAPPY VALLEY, Ore.) - Salem-News.com Clackamas County Deputy Sheriff's deputies are investigating a murder in Happy Valley that happened at a home on SE Fuller Road Saturday evening.

Detective Jim Strovink with Clackamas County says the investigation determined that 34-year old Michael Joshua Chapman was killed by his stepfather, 50-year old Steven James Petersen, during a violent domestic disturbance at this residential address.

American troops are asked to fight and die for the freedom of other nations while the government strips them of their own.

(FORT BENNING, Georgia) - MySpace We reported on May 16th 2007 that the U.S. government appeared to be on the verge of relaxing its complete blackout of MySpace and YouTube on all U.S. military computers. I can tell you over one year later that it apparently never happened.

It seems unusual that the Department of Defense would continue this ridiculous information "blackout" at a time that we are asking so much from these brave warriors.

Fiery Crash Involving Car and Train Leave Two Dead

One occupant narrowly escaped being hit by the train, while two perished.

(CANBY, Ore.) - Salem-News.com An Amtrak train struck a car Friday night at the Canby intersection of NE 4th Ave and Hwy 99E, at about 10:20 PM. The vehicle erupted in flames upon impact, and was pushed nearly 1450 feet down the train tracks, burning the entire time.

Oregon Fires Delay Drivers in Eastern Oregon

Expect Delays on U.S. Hwy. 395 in eastern Oregon due to fire

(SALEM, Ore.) - Salem-News.com ODOT reports that a fire along Camas Creek in southwestern Umatilla County is creating delays for travelers on U.S. Highway 395 between Ukiah and Dale, 50 miles south of Pendleton.

Oregon Department of Transportation crews are piloting traffic through the area between mile points 50 and 60, but may need to close the highway if the fire poses a further danger.
