(SALEM, Ore.) - The Way of the World by Ron Suskind The fall of George W. Bush. It has been called for and attempts have been launched, but taking a blow at this administration is like playing the video game Galaxian for the first time; you may knock out a few enemy ships, but they are going to send you down in flames before the games really gets going.

Study Finds Naturally-Occurring Arsenic in some Douglas County Wells

Oregon officials say that for private well owners, regular testing is an important investment in their family’s health and safety.

Multiple Sclerosis, Marijuana and Hijacked Medical Articles

Phillip Leveque has spent his life as a Combat Infantryman, Physician and Toxicologist.

(MOLALLA, Ore.) - Marijuana leaf I knew when I started helping severely disabled patients get medical marijuana permits that I was entering a cesspool of resistance and below-the-belt savagery not only against me but also my disabled sick patients.

I’m accused of being a drug peddler and quack and my patients are just a bunch of lying, faking potheads who just want to get “high”.

These are some of the sickest most disabled patients I have ever seen and worst they have been rejected and abandoned by most doctors who still believe this Reefer Madness crap and the garbage coming from Walters, McCafferty and a another bunch of numbskulls even in the face of thousands of supporting medical articles and prestigious medical associations.

Its What`s Inside that Counts

It is less the imagery than it is their values and norms that should decide who best deserve the honor of being President of the United States of America.

(PASO ROBLES, Calif.) - Salem-News.com We’re talking values and norms here, not false accusations or rumors that get tossed about during political campaigns, such as John McCain and his committee are throwing at Barack Obama’s wall to see what will stick.

Hillary acted the part of warm-up for McCain’s .performance when she referred to Barack Obama as an “elitist” which of course he is not, if what I read today is correct.

According to a web-headline [8/4/08] Obama leads McCain in a poll of working class voters by a significant margin.

AAA Says Gas Prices Decline to Lowest Level in 11 Weeks

Good news for consumers as they fill up their gas tanks. The national and Oregon averages continue to fall and prices haven't been this low since late May. The price of crude oil is also $27 lower than the record high of $147 set in July.

(PORTLAND, Ore.) - Gas nozzle "It's costing us less to fill up our tanks. Gas prices continue to fall and haven't been this low since late May. The national average drops seven cents this week to $3.87 a gallon, while Oregon's average declines eight cents to $4.06."

AAA Oregon Public Affairs Director Marie Dodds says, "If the price of crude oil remains below $125 per barrel, we could see a national average around $3.75 by Labor Day. Larger declines will be in the works if oil prices plunge even lower than they are now."

Oil is trading today around $120 per barrel, down about $27 from the all-time high price of $147 per barrel set on July 11. The drop in energy prices is mostly due to shrinking demand for petroleum products in the U.S. and other countries as global economies have cooled.
