Police Arrest Two in Dundee Shooting

The charges on Litscher, Homestead and Waggoner will be reviewed by a Yamhill County Grand Jury within a week.

(DUNDEE, Ore.) - Willard Wayne Waggoner, Kevin Duane Litscher and Cory Dwight Homestead. Police made an arrest in the April 30th shooting that took place in Dundee. Around 11:30 PM Thursday, 34-year old Willard Wayne Waggoner was arrested by the US Marshals Service Oregon Fugitive Task Force with vital assistance from Salem Police Department and Albany Police Department. The arrest was made at a residence in Albany.

Waggoner is one suspect charged in connection with last month's shooting in Dundee. The late evening event caused traffic on Highway 99W to be closed down traffic on Hwy 99W while members of the Yamhill County Major Crime Response Team investigated the crime.

Molalla Pedestrian Killed By Hit and Run Driver

It happened around 2:00 AM last night on Highway 211 south of Colton. Police say the vehicle should show clear signs of damage from hitting the man while he was walking.

(MOLALLA, Ore.) - Police have identified 23-year old Justin L. White of Molalla as the victim of an apparent hit & run crash on Highway 211 about south of Colton.

Oregon State Police, working in conjunction with the Clackamas County Medical Examiner's Office and Clackamas County Sheriff's Office, believe the incident occurred during the early morning hours of Friday and the victim's body was found later that afternoon.

Hay Truck Fire Closes 99 North of Junction City

Police say the highway will be blocked until at least 4:00 today.

(JUNCTION CITY, Ore.) - Highway 99E was closed at about 11:30 AM according to Oregon Department of Transportation officials, when a truck hauling hay started burning.

Fire crews on scene elected to allow the truck and its contents to burn due to safety concerns. Once the fire is extinguished, a tow truck will remove the remains of the truck and trailer. A detour routing traffic around the scene is in place.

Oregon and Washington Paramedics, EMTs, Ratify First-Ever Teamsters Contract

The contract will covers more than 500 workers.

(WASHINGTON, D.C.) - Ambulance More than 500 paramedics and emergency medical technicians in the Greater Portland, Oregon and Vancouver, Washington area have ratified their first-ever contract as Teamsters.

"The Teamsters are pleased that these workers are now covered by a strong contract that gives them job protection and a secure retirement future," said Teamsters General President Jim Hoffa. The workers, both full-time and part-time, are employed by American Medical Response, Inc. They are members of Local 58 in Vancouver, Washington and Local 223 in Portland, Oregon.
