Parachute Found by Kids in Washington Could be D.B. Cooper`s (VIDEO)

It is a mystery that captivates people and perhaps the discovery of this parachute will bring us answers.

(SEATTLE) - Photo of flight crew on D.B. Coopers infamous flight The FBI is investigating a parachute found by some kids near Amboy, Washington that may be from the country's most famous hijacker, the extremely elusive D.B. Cooper.

The man using the name Dan Cooper checked into the Portland, Oregon airport and hijacked a Northwest Orient flight that was heading to Seattle in November 1971. He told the flight crew that he had a bomb.

Bodies of Two Kidnapped American Security Contractors are Recovered in Iraq

This is an open investigation, the FBI reports.

(BAGHDAD, Iraq) - John Roy Young and Ronald Withrow U.S. authorities in Iraq have recovered remains that have been identified as two American contractors in Iraq. Both men have been missing for a significant period of time.

The victims have been identified as Ronald Withrow of Roaring Springs, Texas, who worked for JPI Worldwide when he was kidnapped on January 5th 2007, and John Roy Young of Kansas City, Missouri, who worked for Crescent Security Group when he was kidnapped on November 16th 2006.

It's time for Oregon legislators to establish a new set of priorities for Oregon, priorities that better match the values of Oregonians.

That's equivalent to the cost of about a month's worth of food based on Bureau of Labor Statistics data.

For a single parent working at minimum wage $321 is a lot of money, especially when you compare it to the income tax bill that Intel Corporation, with $9 billion in profits, likely paid last year: 10 bucks.

Two victims were transported via Lifeflight helicopter to Portland-area hospitals.

(MCMINNVILLE, Ore.) - Fatal crash on Oregon Highway 221 3-25-08 Sirens wailed in Yamhill County today after a Toyota left the roadway near the Wheatland Ferry on Highway 221 at 11:30 AM, the crash ultimately killing five people in the car, two adults and three children.
