Two Men Shot on Highway 26 in Zig Zag Area

Anyone with information regarding this case is asked to call Oregon State Police Northern Command Center dispatch at (800) 452-7888.

(ZIG ZAG, Ore.) - Police line Two adult males were seriously injured Monday night after being shot by an unknown suspect during what appears to be a random encounter on Highway 26 in the Zig Zag area.

The men, traveling with two children, were shot by a white man with a baseball cap after an apparent roadside confrontation that may have been a case of road rage.

Police Say Speeding Led to Serious Crash on Highway 213

Police say speed was a factor.

(SALEM, Ore.) - Crash scene in Oregon at Marion/Clackamas Couty lines, 12-11-07 Police say an 18-year old Portland male was seriously injured Monday evening when he lost control of his speeding vehicle on Highway 213 just south of the Clackamas/Marion County line and was ejected as his vehicle rolled.

A second vehicle associated with the crash, a 1997 Ford Taurus driven by 20-year old Nicholas Gonzales of Silverton, was also southbound behind the Kia at a high rate of speed. The Taurus did not crash but did pull over when the Kia crashed.

Aumsville Woman Dies in Crash Monday

The investigation is continuing at this time.

(AUMSVILLE, Ore.) - Crash investigation Marion County Deputies say an Aumsville woman died in a single car crash Monday night on West Stayton Road near Bates Road SE. Deputies responded to a single motor vehicle crash just south of the city of Aumsville.

The Driver, 45-year old Betty Lyn Osborne of Aumsville was identified as the deceased. Aumsville Fire and EMS had arrived on scene and confirmed and pronounced the driver as deceased before county deputies arrived.

Fatal Hit & Run Pedestrian Crash Under Investigation

The unidentified victim was seen by a Curry County Sheriff's Office deputy pushing a shopping cart in the area about 20 minutes earlier.

(GOLD BEACH, Ore.) - Hit and run Oregon State Police, with the assistance of the Curry County Sheriff's Office, is investigating a fatal hit and run crash Monday morning that has left an unidentified adult male deceased on Highway 101 between Gold Beach and Brookings.

Police say this morning at approximately 10:20 AM, a report was received of a deceased male on Highway 101 near milepost 349 near the Whale's Head Beach Resort.
