Police Investigating Death of Oregon State Professor

Dr. Sulzman, an associate professor in the Department of Crop and Soil Science, received the OSU Faculty Teaching Excellence Award in 2006.

(CORVALLIS, Ore. ) - death investigation image Oregon State Police detectives are continuing the investigation into the death of an Oregon State University faculty member who became ill while inside her vehicle on the campus Sunday afternoon and later died at a Corvallis hospital.

Oregon State Police troopers and Corvallis Fire Department personnel found Elizabeth W. Sulzman age 40, from Philomath, gravely ill as her conditioned worsened quickly.

Oregon State - Michigan Game 2 Set for 4:00 PM

You can hear the game live in the Salem-area on KEJO (1240 AM).

(CORVALLIS, Ore. ) - osu baseball photo Oregon State and Michigan will continue their NCAA Super Regional baseball series on Monday at 4:00 PM at Goss Stadium at Coleman Field.

The game will be televised on ESPN or ESPN2.

On Monday, an Oregon State win would send the defending national champions to the CWS for the third straight season; a Michigan win would force a third and deciding game on Tuesday.

River Rhythms Free Concert Series Lineup Set

This year's lineup includes Eddie Money, Curtis Salgado, and The Fabulous Thunderbirds.

(ALBANY, Ore. ) - Eddie Money photo Albany Parks & Recreation has announced the lineup for the 24th season of the River Rhythms concert series.

River Rhythms concerts take place on Thursdays at Monteith Riverpark in downtown Albany. Admission is free, but donations are encouraged.

Performances begin at 7:00 PM. The blanket seating area opens at 4:00 PM.

Bank Robber on Oregon Interstate Corridor Sought by Police

The alleged robberies took place in 2007.

(PORTLAND, Ore.) - Bank robbery suspect A man who police say is responsible for a string of bank robberies in Oregon along the Interstate-5 corridor is the subject of a growing investigation.

Police say he is responsible for at least eight robberies stretching from Portland to Eugene between late January and early June.

Atlantis Docks with International Space Station

Atlantis scheduled to undock June 17th and return to Earth on the 19th.

(CAPE CANAVERAL, Florida) - space shuttle photo Space Shuttle Atlantis and crew arrived at the International Space Station at 3:36 PM, delivering a new truss segment and crew member to the orbital outpost.

STS-117 Mission Specialist Clayton Anderson will switch places with Expedition 15 Flight Engineer Suni Williams, who will be wrapping up a six-month tour of duty on the station.

The crews will prepare for Monday’s installation of the Starboard 3 and 4 (S3/S4) truss segment and the first of three scheduled STS-117 spacewalks.
