Child Abuser Michael Abo Sentenced 7.5 Years in Oregon Prison

This case has saddened much of Yamhill County.

(McMINNVILLE, Ore.) - Michael Abo Michael Abo pleaded Guilty on Wednesday. He is guilty of beating a 4-year old boy nearly to death on New Year’s Eve 2013. The abuse caused permanent, life-altering damage to his girlfriend’s young son, which he admits to.

This week, he was sentenced 7.5 years for his crime. Some say, not nearly long enough.

Fatal Traffic Crash on HWY 99W near McDougal Junction

ODOT established a detour around the crash scene on the heavily traveled highway.

(DAYTON, Ore.) - car crash Oregon State Police (OSP) troopers are continuing the investigation into this morning's fatal crash on highway 99W near milepost 30, just south of McDougal Junction in Yamhill County.

A Tan Ford SUV was traveling northbound on highway 99W when for undetermined reasons the vehicle crossed the centerline into the southbound lane.

Harrison Ford Battered, but OK After Plane Crash

His classic aircraft had engine failure and he crashed on a golf course.

(VENICE, Calif.) - Harrison Ford plane crash Harrison Ford, American iconic actor, crashed his plane on a golf course near the Santa Monica airport this afternoon.

He radioed the tower and told them his engine had failed and he was headed back in immediately. They told him to land on one strip, too far for him to make and he said he'd have to take another. He didn't make it that far.
