(SALEM, Ore.) - Cascade HS Marion County Sheriff's Office has announced that an unknown person has made a threat to Cascade High School "after spring break".

There were no other details from the post and it did not mention any specific names of any involved.

ODFW Hosts Family Fishing Event March 28 at Devil`s Lake

Families get to learn how to fish together!

(NEWPORT, Ore.) - The Regatta Park Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife is hosting a Family Fishing Event Saturday, March 28 at Devils Lake in Lincoln City.

The event will take place from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Regatta Park. ODFW will stock the lake with 6,500 rainbow trout, including 2,000 fish that will be released in a large net pen reserved for youths.

(SAN FRANCISCO) - Benjamin Netanyahu Benjamin Netanyahu has probably retained power in Israel as his Likud party won 29 seats in Parliament while the center-left Zionist Union had 24 seats. The Likud Party is likely to form a coalition to put together a 61-seat majority.

Netanyahu said there would be no Palestinian state under his watch, a Palestinian must condition for any agreement.

Since 2010, nine outbreaks of illnesses caused by salmonella bacteria from chicks have occurred, affecting at least 37 confirmed salmonellosis cases and many more suspected cases.

Two Men Stabbed During Altercation in Cave Junction

Both received stabbing injuries from a weapon belonging to one of the men.

(JOSEPHINE COUNTY, Ore.) - Salem-News.com Two Cave Junction men were treated for stabbing injuries after an altercation which occurred outside of a residence in the Cave Junction area. One man was treated and released and the other was taken into surgery for treatment related to the incident.

On March 16th, 2015, at approximately 1:46 PM, the Josephine County Sheriff's Office, along with troopers from the Oregon State Police Grants Pass work site responded to a report of a stabbing which occurred at 486 South Redwood Highway in Cave Junction.

OSP Assisting Wasco County SO with Armed/Barricaded Subject

The smoke appeared some time after police heard gunshots.

Remembering Jason Hause, A Life Well Lived

JASON EARL HAUSE March 15, 1977 – March 1, 2015

(SALEM, Ore.) - Salem-News.com Jason Earl Hause passed away on March 1st 2015 in Portland, Oregon, due to complications developed from serious injuries of a tragic motorcycle crash on Feb 27th in which he was cut off in traffic on the interstate by a careless driver. Jason was 37.

Anyone who ever met Jason will never forget him. He had a larger than life personality and a loud and infectious sense of humor, ever the prankster.
