Breaking News...Fatal Crash Stops Traffic at Hwy 20/Hwy-22 Junction West of Sisters

(Sisters) - Fatal crash art Oregon State Police say they are on the scene of a fatal traffic crash at the Highway 22 and Highway 20 junction west of Sisters.

State troopers, local emergency responders, and Oregon Transportation officials are at the site of the crash that happened around 4:00 Sunday afternoon. The initial report indicates that there is one deceased person and others from the crash who are injured. An AirLife ambulance was enroute at 4:30 PM.

Troopers say motorists should expect delays and possible road closures in the area. There were no further details to release.

Suspect in Keizer Walgreen`s Armed Robberies Arrested

A series of armed robberies in Keizer have left clerks shaken and kept police investigators busy over the past two months; the payoff came Saturday with the arrest of a man believed to be responsible for all four incidents...

(Keizer) - Surveillance photo of suspect in the most recent Keizer Walgreen`s armed robbery Photo: Keizer Police Police have arrested a Mill City man that they say is connected to a string of armed robberies which began last December. Three of the incidents were armed robberies at Walgreen`s Pharmacy stores. Two were at the Keizer location, one happened at the Walgreen`s on Lancaster Drive in Salem. A person believed to be the same suspect also robbed the Blockbuster Video, at 5402 River Road North in Keizer.

Willamette Choirs Honored

Willamette auditioned against universities in Alaska, Washington, Oregon, Montana, Idaho and Wyoming

(Salem) - Willamette University The Willamette University Chamber Choir and Willamette Singers have been selected by the American Choral Directors Association to perform at the organization`s Northwest Regional Convention in Portland in March.

Willamette`s Chamber Choir will perform its convention program at the Winter Choral Concert Saturday, February 25th, at 7:00 PM in Hudson Hall on the Willamette campus.
