Second Suspect Arrested in Connection to Oregon Murder of Melissa Bauer

Melissa Bauer`s body was discovered on the morning of December 20th at Larwood Park, east of Scio.

(Albany) - 35-year old Tonya Lynn Neal-Strawn of Lebanon was arrested Friday by Linn County Sheriff`s Detectives on Conspiracy to Commit Murder and Hindering Prosecution. She is lodged in the Linn County Jail and bail is set at $306,000.

Sheriff`s Detectives believe that Neal-Strawn was present at the time of the murder and also took part in destroying evidence related to the crime.

Synthetic gym floors installed in schools in the 1970s could be releasing air-borne mercury. Over exposure to this substance has been reported to cause health issues, particularly with pregnant women or women who become pregnant soon after contact.

Guardrail Work to Close Lanes on I-5
