After four years, the court has issued an arrest warrant with a red notice to INTERPOL for four defendants.

(ISTANBUL, Turkey) - Mavi Marmara It has been 4 years since the Gaza Freedom Flotilla, with over 700 volunteers from 37 different countries, was attacked by the Israeli armed forces in international waters on its way to break the illegal blockade on Gaza and to deliver humanitarian aid.

During this attack nine humanitarian aid volunteers were killed and dozens of others injured on board the Mavi Marmara vessel. Last week, Ugur Soylemez, who was in a coma since the attack, also died. TEN.

Senators Wyden and Merkley on the Assassination of US Citizens by Secret Memo

It appears that matters of the life and death of US citizens being decided by “secret memos” instead of Congress passing laws.

(JAMESTOWN, RI) - Top Secret David Barron was up for the US Court of Appeals, but many experts cried foul because he was the author of the legal memo which authorized the President’s killing of US citizens.

A controversy arose over his nomination and rightfully so. So when Barron’s name was put forward for Appeals Judge, many experts said ok, let’s see the memo authorizing the killing of US citizens. The White House responded saying you can’t see them because they are “secret”. Huh???

Army Sergeant Bowe Bergdahl Released by Afghan Taliban After 5 Years

Jani Bergdahl told reporters, "I just want to say thank you to everyone who has supported Bowe — he's had a wonderful team everywhere.

(WASHINGTON, D.C. ) - Bergdahl U.S. Army Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl, captured in Afghanistan by the Taliban and held prisoner for nearly five years, was released to U.S. Special Forces on Saturday, with the exchange for the transfer of five detainees from the U.S. facility at Guantánamo Bay, Cuba, to Qatar.

The President said "right now our top priority is making sure that Bowe gets the care and support that he needs and that he can be reunited with his family as soon as possible."

Man In Critical Condition After Bicycle Accident on Oregon Highway 22E

The man was not wearing a helmet at the time of the accident.

(STAYTON, Ore. ) - Oregon State Police A 55-year old man is in critical condition Saturday night after falling from his bicycle while riding on the shoulder of Highway 22E just east of Stayton.

The man reportedly ran over a piece of 2x4 wood lying on the pavement, lost control and fell off the bicycle landing on his face.

Abandoned Boats Found on Valley Waterways on The Rise in Marion County

If you are caught by police setting a boat adrift in a waterway with the intent of abandoning it, you could be charged with a crime.

(SALEM, Ore. ) - boats The warmer weather is here, and family summer vacation’s travels to Willamette Valley waterways are not that far away as well. However, the Marion County Sheriff’s Office says they want people visiting local waterways to be aware of a growing and very dangerous trend -- abandoned boats.

Shane Burnham, Marine Patrol Sergeant says these boats cause an immediate hazard to swimmers and boaters, and they also can draw an emergency response from law enforcement and fire officials.

Six Climbers Missing on Mount Rainier Feared to be Dead

Of the six people, two are guides, from Alpine Ascents International.

(SEATTLE, Wash. ) - mountain climbers Rescue crews are searching for six people who are missing after climbing Liberty Ridge -- 12, 800 feet up -- Mount Rainier in Washington state.

UPDATE:

Park rangers now say they believe the climbers fell some 3,000 feet and could not have survived.

Oregon State Police Find Marijuana, Hash After Traffic Crash on I-5

Subsequent investigation indicates the vehicle contained numerous jars of marijuana, some of which broke open inside and outside the vehicle.

(EUGENE, Ore. ) - The Oregon State Police is continuing the investigation after finding several pounds of marijuana at the scene of Friday morning's injury traffic crash on Interstate 5 south of Eugene.

At approximately 4:50 a.m., OSP troopers, local fire personnel and ODOT responded to a scene of an injury traffic crash involving a sport utility vehicle and commercial truck blocking the northbound lanes of Interstate 5 near milepost 190.

Eastern Oregon Prison on Lockdown Again; Visiting Canceled

EOCI is a medium security prison located in Pendleton that houses approximately 1,700 men in custody.

(PENDLETON, Ore. ) - Eastern Oregon Correctional Institution returned to lockdown Friday night after a disturbance involving 14 inmates. Visiting is now canceled until further notice.

EOCI was placed on lockdown May 26 following multiple inmate fights. It had transitioned from lockdown to normal operations earlier in the day on Friday, and visiting was set to resume on Saturday.
