PCC Demands Reforms in Electoral System

Christian youth across the country have joined PCC and participated from different areas of the country. Other PCC youth leaders and representatives addressed the conference.

(ISLAMABAD) - Pakistani Christians Pakistan Christian Congress, the oldest Christian political party re-organizing in Pakistan has demanded to bring reforms in the electoral system for minorities.

Talking to the PCC Youth Conference, PCC chief said that government of Pakistan should take immediate corrective measures and should restore election system for minority candidates as well. Addressing the Youth Conference via video link, PCC chief Nazir S Bhatti demanded PML-N government to bring reforms in discriminatory laws including blasphemy law.

Salem officer says he was confronted by 47-year old Michael Connelly who was brandishing a knife, Connelly was shot, his condition is unknown.

(SALEM) - Scene of police involved shooting A Salem Police Officer was involved in an on-duty shooting on the morning of April 30 at 4792 Lancaster Dr NE.

Officer David Baker, employed by the Salem Police Department for fourteen months, was dispatched to 4792 Lancaster Dr NE at approximately 7:13 am on a report of a domestic disturbance with one of the involved parties armed with a knife.

There’s an assumption that all police oppose drug law reform. This is incorrect. Police see first hand the consequences of ‘the war on drugs’ and the futility of an enforcement based approach.

Many wonder if we shouldn’t have the same kind of shift that happened many years ago with alcohol. Remember when ‘drunks’ used to get locked up for the night? Now excess alcohol consumption is considered a health issue.

Two Juveniles Attacked in City Park by Multiple Assailants

Officers were able to obtain a video recording of the incident and more arrests are anticipated.

(MCMINNVILLE) - Police lights On April 28th, 2014 at about 8:15 pm, McMinnville Officers responded to a report of a fight or disturbance in the creek bed area of City Park (140 NW Park Dr, McMinnville).

The initial report was of approximately seven individuals assaulting a male and a female. McMinnville Officers managed to contact most of the involved individuals before they could leave the park.
