(LONDON) - Press TV has conducted an interview with Ken O’Keefe, peace activist from Hawaii, about negotiations between the Israeli regime and the Palestinian Authority.

Salem Saturday Market Showered with Fun

Spring is in the air, and it was in full bloom in downtown Salem this weekend.

(SALEM) - The opening day of Salem Saturday Market 2014 was a great success with 85 vendors welcoming old friends and new to the area’s biggest outdoor market. The skies were heavy laden with clouds, and rain was in the forecast, but the sun broke through and very few drops fell. Salemites were ready for the market, and turned out by the hundred, rain or shine, umbrellas in tow.

“There are a lot of new vendors this year, and almost twice as many on opening day as we had last year,” said Kerry Jackson, the assistant Marketing Director for Salem Saturday Market. “Everyone is very enthusiastic and looking forward to a terrific season.”

Update: Names Released - Double Fatal Traffic Crash - Highway 22 west of Dallas in Polk County

OSP troopers from the Salem and McMinnville offices are investigating along with collision reconstructionists from OSP and Keizer Police Department.

(DALLAS) - Oregon State Police (OSP), with the assistance of Polk County District Attorney's Office and Keizer Police Department, are continuing the investigation into the cause of a Friday evening two vehicle double fatal traffic crash along Highway 22 about three miles west of Dallas.

The crash resulted in the death of two males and serious injuries to another male and a female.

(LAS CRUCES, NM) - More Mexicans are acquiring arms to defend their families and property. According to a university researcher, the number of firearms legally possessed in Mexico increased 53 percent from 2009 to 2012, jumping from 2,033, 749 to 3,118, 592 guns.

Ernesto Villanueva, researcher for the National Autonomous University of Mexico’s Institute of Legal Research, based his findings on data from the Mexican Defense Ministry (Sedena), which is in charge of registering firearms.

More Troubles for Criminally Indicted PG&E

After all the sound and fury is over, PG&E will probably start operating as usual.

(SAN FRANCISCO) - Pacific Gas & Electric Company (PG&E) was recently criminally indicted for twelve violations of the federal Pipeline Safety Act. No executives of PG&E were indicted.

The federal indictment follows PG&E's alleged negligence in safely maintaining its natural gas pipeline infrastructure which resulted in a massive explosion in the Crestmoor residential neighborhood of San Bruno on September 9, 2010.

Runaway Pickup Containing Three Children Crashes into House

Deputies determined that the children were playing in the truck and one of them knocked it out of gear. No charges have been filed and no citations were issued.

(PORTLAND) - A pickup truck with three children in it rolled down the street uncontrolled and crashed into a house. The children were not hurt and no one was home at the time of the crash.

Yesterday, Friday, February 21, 2014, at about 4:42 p.m. Sheriff's deputies responded to a call of a pickup truck that crashed into a house at 8415 SW Carmel CT in the community of Garden Home.
