Governor Kasich Has Duty to Veto Bills Which Impose Barriers to the Ballot Box for Hundreds of Thousands of Ohioans.

(WASHINGTON, DC) - John Kasich The national civil rights organization Advancement Project and the Ohio Organizing Collaborative today voiced strong concerns regarding a series of bills passed in the Ohio legislature.

The legislation will make it harder for eligible Ohioans to vote. The groups urged Governor John Kasich to immediately veto the bill.

Flasher Runs From Woman with Tazer, Jumps Fence (VIDEO)

Salem police are looking for a man who "flashed" a woman on/near High Street. She flashed her Tazer and he ran.

(SALEM) - flasher in Salem, Oregon A woman in downtown Salem was getting into her car at the mall when a man pressed his naked genitals up against her window, according to reports.

She apparently responded by grabbing a Tazer and chasing after the flasher; she may even have tazed him, which is not yet confirmed. The nearly naked man allegedly ran from the infuriated woman and escaped her wrath by jumping over a fence near Willow and High Streets in NE Salem.

In contrast, the 18,329 cancer deaths of Marines who were stationed at Camp Lejeune and Camp Pendleton from 1975 until 1985 are a real life horror story and not a laughing matter.

In the newly released article, Environmental Health, explains that Dr. Frank Bove, ATSDR toxicologist, and other scientists reported that Lejeune Marines had higher cancer rates than those at Camp Pendleton.

Man Arrested After Attempt to Elude in SE Salem

Troopers say they found a small amount of Hydrocodone and Oxycodone pills were also found in his clothing.

(SALEM) - Anthony R. Segura, age 35, from Salem A 35-year old Salem man was arrested early Thursday morning on multiple charges after reportedly attempting to elude state police troopers in SE Salem.

35-year old Anthony R. Segura was arrested, police say they found a loaded semi-automatic handgun in his car.

Oregon Medical Amnesty Bill Passed Unanimously by OR Senate

The bill now moves to the Governor where we expect it will be signed in to law. Once signed, Oregon will become the 18th state to enact a Medical Amnesty law.

(SALEM) - Oregon State Capitol Today, the Oregon Senate passed House Bill 4094 (HB 4094), Medical Amnesty, which establishes protections for intoxicated minors.

Medical Amnesty provides intoxicated minors with a limited legal immunity when they seek help for themselves, or another individual, during a medical emergency.
