Missing Man Found Alive After 3 Days in Remote Yamhill County Woodlands

(YAMHILL COUNTY, Ore.) - yamhill county rescue Yesterday, around 3:45 PM, pilot Danchuck and his spotter, Rich Ashenbrenner helped save 73-year old Sang Kwon Sa, from Washington State.

Sa had gone missing Sunday evening around 5:30 PM while collecting plants with family members off Wind River Road in Yamhill County.

Oregon reports 660 new confirmed and presumptive COVID-19 cases, 16 new deaths

(PORTLAND, Ore.) - Oregon vaccinations There are 16 new COVID-19 related deaths in Oregon, raising the state’s death toll to 2,549, and the Oregon Health Authority reported 660 new confirmed and presumptive cases of COVID-19 as of 12:01 a.m. today, bringing the state total to 192,416.

This afternoon, Gov. Kate Brown and OHA Director Patrick Allen provided an update on the state's new vaccination targets for reopening the economy.

Minimum and Maximum Weekly Benefit Amounts to Increase Nearly 9% for New UI and PUA Claims

(SALEM, Ore.) - oregon employment Today the Oregon Employment Department announced the annual change to the minimum and maximum weekly benefit amounts (WBAs) for regular unemployment insurance (UI).

For new regular UI and new PUA claims filed in Oregon on or after July 4, 2021, minimum and maximum WBAs each will increase by approximately 9%.
