Sunila’s dedication and devotedness to human rights has a resonance in the date of her death - the very first day of the 24th session of the UN Human Rights Council in Geneva. If Sunila were healthy and able to travel, she would have been in Geneva for this session.

UN Rights Council Says Syria Gas Attack Videos, Photos Fake: Russia

Russia says the United Nations Human Rights Council (HRC) has confirmed that the videos and photos purporting to show the victims of a chemical attack near the Syrian capital, Damascus, were fabricated.

(DAMASCUS) - Syria pro govt protest The Russian Foreign Ministry said in a Tuesday statement that international experts as well as Syrian public and religious leaders presented their evidence to the 24th session of the UN Human Rights Council in Geneva on September 9.

It also said evidence provided by numerous witnesses confirms that militants fighting against the Syrian government used chemical weapons in the Damascus suburb of western Ghouta last month.

Small Talk Can Mean a Big Deal

My conclusion as an explorer of human relations is that "small talk" often reaps big positive results.

(SALEM) - Small talk When much, much younger, I mistakenly thought that intelligence was what made me worthwhile as a person. My brain was viewed as my most important functioning organ, and so those feeble attempts to spout "knowledge" drove the engine.

I can recall how at age 8 or 9 my father would march me in front of other adults as a show-and-tell showcase he could glorify about.

I pulled over at a convenience store and was immediately approached by a young woman who works at the store, offering to help in any way she could.

The jury of 6 black and white members unanimously found Loyd Jowers and "un-named government co-conspirators" guilty of the murder of Martin Luther King.
