(SALEM) - Horse tripping Oregon Senate Bill 835 known as the “horse-tripping bill” is garnering more support from North America's top horse and animal experts.

The experts are weighing in to debunk the theory that horse tripping is “traditional.” The bill will soon be voted on by the Oregon State Senate, it was co-sponsored by Sen. Mark Hass, D-Portland and Sen. Bill Hansell, R-Athena.

According to a 2012 Skagit County Public Works Department, 42 of the county's 108 bridges are 50 years or older. The document says eight of the bridges are more than 70 years old and two are over 80.

(SEATTLE) - Bridge collapse in Washington An Interstate 5 bridge collapsed into the Skagit River, dumping two vehicles and a trailer in the waters north of Mount Vernon. A law-enforcement source said 150 yards of the interstate dropped into the water.
