As this observer watched some of the herds the other day when traveling to Damascus, I noticed that there appeared to be an unusually large number of shepherds above us tending their herds.

(WASHINGTON DC) - East Jerusalem Americans for Peace Now joins its Israeli sister organization, Peace Now, in condemning two recent moves by the Israeli government in East Jerusalem that could severely complicate efforts to reach a two–state solution between Israel and the Palestinians.

APN’s President and CEO Debra DeLee called the moves “provocative and irresponsible.”

(LONDON) - The European Rohingya Council We are deeply concerned over the reports that Bengali Rakhines had started attacks on Rohingya Muslims and Kaman Muslims yet again in Minbya Township and Myauk U Townships on October 21, 2012.

At least four villages were burnt down and scores of people killed. Exact casualty report is not available at the moment.

Salem Police Shoot Dog- Bullet Strikes Man

A man was shot in the foot and transported to Salem Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

(SALEM) - shooting victim being loaded into ambulance A Salem Police officer setting out to shoot a pit bull ended up shooting a man who apparently tried to place himself between the gun and the dog.

A Salem Police officer was firing at the pit bull, a spokesman says, when 38-year old Steven Deleon jumped in, apparently trying to intervene in the situation.
