Five Killed and 11 Injured in Quetta Bomb Blast

The powerful bomb blast on Sunday went off at around 11:50 a.m.

(FAISALABAD, Pakistan) - Five people, including two women and two children, were killed and 11 others injured Sunday, by a massive explosion. Police say the 80kg explosive being transported by a militant, ripped apart a house in the Faizabad area.

“We have found a severed head, believed to be of a militant who was killed in the blast,” police officer Mukhtar Ahmed told reporters.

We know that a police officer was among those injured; the officer had responded to the reported shooting. The scene at the temple was described as chaotic.
